A BIT OF A PHILOSOPHER
I have been around photography from a very young age. My dad had a makeshift darkroom at home and I’d watch him develop film. As someone who always enjoyed doing something creative with my hands, I found the darkroom process very fascinating.
When I turned 15, I asked for my first camera and my love for making pictures was born. I know this may sound cliche, but photography is my life. I can’t imagine doing anything else.
I studied at the University of the Arts, London and have a degree in Interior design, but even at university I’d often go to the photography studios to watch the student work. I remain very passionate about interiors, architecture, fashion and arts in general.
I like learning something new all the time. Delving into subjects like psychology, philosophy and the meaning of life (yes, I dare to mention it) is something I could engage in lengthy discussions about. Music and exploring galleries are my ultimate therapies in life. Warm summer rain, evening strolls, dancing and engaging in great conversations over a glass of red wine are some of my greatest joys. I am a peoples person with an open heart.
I NEVER PUT MY CAMERA DOWN.
In my photography journey, I find inspiration in the everyday moments that shape my life – from the adventures with my family to the simple, yet beautiful fragments of daily existence. I view these moments through a poetic lens, appreciating the charm in the seemingly ordinary. I often pursue personal projects, and some of them have been shared in photography publications. It’s a venture into creativity, an ongoing journey of exploration, and a way of life that I deeply appreciate and cherish.

WHY WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY?
Wedding photography is not just a profession for me; it is a heartfelt passion that intertwines my love for capturing diverse moments, forming connections, and documenting the essence of someone’s special day. In this unique art form, a key element that fuels my creativity is the variety that each wedding brings.
The diversity in weddings offers an array of opportunities to explore different cultures, traditions, and emotions. From the vibrant colours of a traditional ceremony to the timeless elegance of a modern celebration, I find joy in adapting my photography style to suit the unique essence of each event. Variety, to me, is not just about capturing different scenes but also about embracing the rich tapestry of human emotions and connections.
Friendship plays a crucial role in my approach to wedding photography. Building a rapport with the couples and their families allows me to seamlessly blend into the festivities, capturing genuine moments of joy, laughter, and love. This connection goes beyond the lens, creating a comfortable environment that reflects in the authenticity of the captured moments.
